Emily Steinwall (born January 17, 1995), is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Toronto, Canada. 

Steinwall’s roots in Toronto’s music scene run deep; her grandparents and parents were all active members of the local live music scene. This organically grew into a full-time career as a gigging musician for local and touring acts. 

Around 2017 Emily started to focus her energy more on songwriting and band leading, writing songs for her initial self-released album, titled “Welcome to the Garden”. Once described as “A Disney Princess on Acid” , this initial offering from Steinwall blends psychedelic rock, theatrical vocals and extended saxophone solos. It went on to receive the 2022 SOCAN songwriters prize.
